Today was incredibly hot, the thermostat must have hit close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. With a day like today there is only one thing to do and that is get a nice cool mint chocolate chip ice cream. This marshmallow held the cone well, and my fondant ice cream scoop won’t melt all over the curvature. I mixed the colors myself to get the brown and green colors just right, and used my Showtime # 15 knife (my Showtime #13 was in the dishwasher) to make the little lines in the sugar cone. A toothpick dipped in black colorant gave the ice cream the chocolate chips. I’ll be heading over to the local ice cream shop down the street to get myself a real ice cream cone next.
