This is a simple flower I made today, I was a bit rushed so my petals are much thicker and cartoonish than they should be, and as I post this I realize I forgot the green leaves…a fondant flower faux pas. As soon as work was finished (is it ever really ‘finished?’) I mixed the colorants to create some purple petals and used a piece of yellow bead fondant for the center. Then I ran it outside for a quick pic in the garden area. Unfortunately, after the quick shoot I dropped it in the dirt which sadly rendered it un-edible… :(
