Simple sunny flowers

It was a perfect blue sky sunny day today and I made this little sunflower-like flower. I tried to design the petals to curve upward so it would not look too cartoony. I have on my to-list to go buy a metal fondant ball-roller that will help me create more sophisticated flower petals. They cost almost $50 for the tiny little tool… but it will be a welcome addition to my marshmallow making craft.
